Although a non vegetarian version of the burger is more common, the vegetarian version of the burger like the Aloo Tikki Burger is also very tasty.

Ingredients
2 Burgers
2 Mashed Potatoes, Boiled, and Peeled
½ tbsp of red chili powder
½ tbsp of turmeric powder
½ tbsp of coriander powder
½ tbsp of coriander powder
½ tbsp of chat masala
Chopped fresh coriander
1 tbsp Mayonnaise
Fee iceberg lettuce leaves
1 onion cut into a few ring sized slices
1 tomato cut into a few ring sized slices
2 cheese slices
Method
Preparing the potato tikki
- Mash the potatoes in a bowl. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder,chat masala, chopped coriander, salt. Mix it nicely!
- Divide the mixture into few equal portions and flatten on a flat surface.
- Freeze the mixture for about 30 minutes
- Heat oil in a non stick pan and deep fry the potato tikkis till golden brown.
Prepare the burger
- Cut a burger into two horizontal pieces
- Add mayonnaise
- Fill the burger with the deep fried aloo patty
- Place a few lettuce leaves, 1 tomato slice, 1 piece onion ring
- Add a piece of cheese slice
- Cove the bun
- Repeat the steps 1-6 for the Other bun
