INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup urad dal
1 green chili
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp ginger
2 cup Dahi
Oil
Hing

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wash urad dal for soak for about 5 hours.

  • Separate the dal from the water place in a blender.

  • Add ginger, cumin, green chili, hing to the blender

  • Add little water and blend again until the batter turns soft.

  • Separate the batter to a bowl and beat it for a few minutes.

  • Pour the oil to a pan and fry the vadas

  • Put the fried vadas to a bowl of water.

  • Pour dahi over the vadas and allow it to rest for sometime.

  • Put chutney over the dahi vadas.

  • Sprinkle chat masala.

  • Dahi Vada is ready.
