Egg Biryani Recipe

This recipe is a Egg Biryani preparation recipe. We can use the recipe for preparing any kind of Egg Biryani.

Ingredients for egg cooking

1 Cup yogurt

1 Cup chopped tomatoes

3-4 Boiled  Eggs ( We can use duck,chicken or other eggs )

1 bay leaf

3-4 green cardamon 

4-5 cloves

1-2 cinnamon

1-2 star anise

1 tablespoon of jeera

3-4 sliced onions

3-4 green chilies

Few mint leaves

Few tablespoon of oil

1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste

1 tablespoon garam masala or Biryani masala

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon red chilli powder

1 tablespoon turmeric powder

 

Making the Egg portion

 

Heat the oil in a large pan

Add the whole spices ( cinnamon, star anise, jeera, bay leaf, cardamon )

Add the sliced onions and green chilies on medium heat

Add the ginger garlic paste and fry them for sometime.

Heat them till it’s brown in color

Now add the tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder,salt,yogurt, and mint leaves

Mix and cook them for sometime.

Add the eggs and the Biryani masala powder 

Mix well and cook until there is a thick gravy.

 

Basmati Rice Soaking 

 

Soak the basmati rice in water for 30 minutes. 

Drain the water so that only the rice remains

 

Final Biryani Preparation

 

Layer drained rice all over the cooked egg gravy . Add water and also add some salt.

Cover the cooking pot and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes

If cooked in a cooker cook for 1 whistle

 

Biryani serving

 

Serve the Biryani in layers

Top layer with rice and bottom layer with eggs.

Enjoy the Biryani  with raita 

 

Pork Momo Recipe

Most pork  momos are made with flavourful pork  stuffing and  outer covering dough is made with plain  flour. 

Ingredients

For dough 

Plain flour 

Salt as needed

Water as needed 

For Pork filing 

Cup of Grated cheese

Cup of lean pork minced

Onion

Chopped Ginger 

Chopped Garlic

Chopped Green chili

Chopped onion

Chopped coriander leaves

Little soya sauce

Little vinegar

Some black Pepper

Salt as needed 

 

Dough preparation

First  the dough is prepared by mixing maida, salt, and water. The dough is kept in a small container. 

Chicken cheese stuffing preparation 

  1. Take a large bowl and mix the ingredients for pork  filling  
  2. Add black pepper and salt. 
  3. Keep stirring the mixture.

Outer Layer Preparation

Add the dough from the cover and knead well. Divide the dough into many small disc shaped circles. ( The number of disc shaped stuffing depends on the number of momos you want to  make. If you want to make 6 momos make 6 disc. If you want to make 8 momos make 8 disc )

 

Shaping momos

Now fill the small disc shaped circles with pork stuffing and fold to seal the momo. Repeat this process with the other circle shaped small disc. Heat the momos in a steamer and steam for 5-7 minutes.

Serving the momos

Transfer the pork momos to a plate and eat it with chilli garlic chutney

 

Aloo Tikki Burger Recipe

Although a non vegetarian version of the burger is more common, the vegetarian version of the burger like the Aloo Tikki Burger is also very tasty.

Serves 2

Ingredients

2 Burgers

2 Mashed Potatoes, Boiled, and Peeled

½ tbsp of red chili powder

½  tbsp of turmeric powder

½  tbsp of coriander powder

½  tbsp of coriander powder 

½ tbsp of chat masala

Chopped fresh coriander 

1 tbsp Mayonnaise

Fee iceberg lettuce leaves

1 onion cut into a few ring sized slices

1 tomato cut into a few ring sized slices

2 cheese slices

Method 

Preparing the potato tikki

  1. Mash the potatoes in a bowl. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder,chat masala, chopped coriander, salt. Mix it nicely!
  2. Divide the mixture into few equal portions and flatten on a flat surface.
  3. Freeze the mixture for about 30 minutes
  4. Heat oil in a non stick pan  and deep fry the potato tikkis till golden brown.

Prepare the burger

  1. Cut a burger into two horizontal pieces
  2. Add mayonnaise
  3. Fill the burger with the deep fried aloo patty
  4. Place a few lettuce leaves, 1 tomato slice, 1 piece onion ring 
  5. Add a piece of cheese slice
  6. Cove the bun
  7. Repeat the steps 1-6 for the Other bun

 

Chicken Burger Recipe

Chicken Burger is a kind of sandwich which consists of a crispy chicken breast filled between slices of a bun. 

Serves 2 

Ingredients

For chicken marination

2 pieces of succulent chicken

Oil 2 tbsp

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

½ black pepper powder

½ mustard powder

 

For preparing batter

½ Cup corn flour

½ Cup all purpose flour

2 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp mustard powder

Black pepper powder

Salt

 

Putting in all together 

3 tbsp Mayonnaise

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Mustard Powder

Burger Buns

Iceberg Lettuce

 

Method

There are many steps involved in preparing a nice  chicken burger

  1. First step is to marinate the chicken breast pieces with oil, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper powder,and mustard powder. Keep the marinated pieces for 30 minutes.
  2. The next step is to prepare the batter. For preparing the batter mix corn flour, all purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, black pepper powder, and salt.
  3. The third step is to dip the marinated pieces of chicken into the batter and freeze for about 30 minutes
  4. The fourth step is to fry batter coated marinated pieces of chicken in oil
  5. Once fry is done keep the fried pieces separately
  6. Now it’s time to construct the burger. Take a bun and cut into two pieces. Then add mayonnaise to the bun. After that add one piece of fried chicken to the center of the bun. On top of that add iceberg lettuce to give a great taste. You can also add some garlic powder, onion powder and some mustard powder inside the bun.
  7. Serve the chicken burger with hot tomato sauce. 

 

Lamb Burger Recipe

Lamb Burger 

Ingredients

250 grams minced meat

1 onion

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

½ fresh ginger 

Fresh coriander leaves

1-2 tbsp gram flour.

1 egg

2 green chilies

Salt 

Iceberg Lettuce

Method

Preparing the patties 

Mix everything together ( minced meat, green chillies, coriander powder, red chillies powder, salt, gram flour, egg and mix it with your own hands )

Next divide the mixture into flat round shaped patties. And then freeze the mixture.

Fry the oil in medium heat for a few minutes.

Preparing the burger

Take a burger bun and cut into two horizontal halves.

Mix  mayonnaise and tomato ketchup together 

Add  the burger patty into the burger bun

Add iceberg lettuce

Close the burger with a cherry tomato.
