Paneer momos are not as popular as non-vegetarian momos. Most paneer momos are made with flavourful paneer stuffing outer covering dough is made with plain flour.
Ingredients
For dough
Plain flour
Salt as needed
Water as needed
For Paneer filing
Cup of grated paneer
Onion
Chopped Ginger
Chopped Garlic
Chopped Green chili
Chopped onion
Little soya sauce
Little vinegar
Some Pepper
Salt as needed
Dough Preparation
First the dough is prepared by mixing maida, salt, and water. The dough is kept in a small container.
Paneer stuffing preparation
- Crumble the paneer by using a mixer.
- Heat a non-stick pan with oil. Add chopped ginger, garlic, chilli,onion
- Add red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, and salt.
- After that add the crumbled paneer and fry until the oil separates
- Keep stirring the mixture.
- Also add some chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Outer Layer Preparation
Add the dough from the cover and knead well. Divide the dough into many small disc shaped circles.
Shaping momos
Now fill the small disc shaped circles with paneer filling ( see paneer stuffing ) and fold to seal the momo. Repeat this process with the other circle shaped small disc. Heat the momos in a steamer and steam for 5-7 minutes.
